Gränsfors Bruk SMALL FOREST AXE (p/n: 420) - the most popular and versatile axe in the entire Gransfors Bruks range, with a larger head and longer handle compared to the Wildlife Hatchet for more chopping power. This axe, with a length of 19" (49 cm), a head weight of 1½ lb (0.7 kg), and a total weight of 2.1 lb (0.8 kg), is excellent for felling trees and limbing. It comes sharp with a protective leather sheath and a copy of "The Axe Book". B. Gränsfors Ceramic Grinding Stone (p/n: 4034) - a man-made sharpening stone with two grinding faces: a course side (180 grit) for repairing damage and heavy wear, and a fine side (600 grit) for sharpening. This ceramic composite stone is durable and strong, with a round and flat shape and a bevelled edge to prevent chipping. The fine side, two-thirds of the thickness, is usually used and worn down most. It can be used with water or dry and comes in a protective rubber case that doubles as a holder during grinding/sharpening. Please note that the Gransfors 20-YEAR guarantee covers only the AXE HEAD against manufacturing defects, with handles not included unless there was a structural defect in the wood.
